Calming your brain.

We all know that life can get crazy and there are times we must calm our brains. The world is passing by at 100 miles per hour and we just can’t keep up.

Our students are often in the same boat. They have math homework, a science test, and a Language paper due today. They couldn’t find their favorite shirt, their hair looks funny, there is a crazy pimple growing on the side of their face and their best friend is upset with them.

Life can be overwhelming for our students especially when they have so many emotions. They start learning about their emotions in elementary school. How many of them grasp the skills of controlling their emotions? Are our students skilled at calming their brains?
